Climate change, armed conflicts, social inequality – the challenges show how ecological, social and economic processes are interrelated. With the SDGs, the global community has set itself ambitious goals to overcome these challenges. Education for sustainable development is an important step towards this.
The toolkit produced by youngCaritas Switzerland for the YoungCaritas in Europe network provides valuable background information and exercise ideas on the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the focus topics Poverty & Social Inequality, Migration & Diversity and Sustainability & Consumption. Easy-to-implement project examples from the network are used to show how awareness-raising and active engagement of young people can succeed.
